Theatre play by the collective Matriu.id and presented at Sala Beckett, that unfolded in the liminal space between the physical stage and the digital realm. At its core, the piece examined the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, inviting the audience to imagine what it means to secure a place in digital eternity.

To bring this concept to life, the play incorporated multiple technological systems that enabled real-time interaction with the audience, transforming the spectators into active participants in the unfolding story. Digital interaction tools generated 3D visuals using AI models, while live image-processing pipelines integrated data from the viewers into the scenography. Audience members could scan QR codes to submit responses, directly altering the direction of the play. At the same time, the performers’ physical gestures—captured through sensors—modulated the music and visuals, weaving together movement, sound, and digital imagery into a responsive environment.

Through this intricate interplay of theatre and technology, WARE Reinforced blurred the line between narrative and simulation, reflecting on how artificial intelligence not only reshapes human interaction but also redefines the future of collective memory and identity.
